So, there's this new RPG from UnitePlus and ArcSystemWorks that caught my attention, titled "Qliphah in Providence's Shadow". Apparently it's about a young man in an apocalyptic Tokyo setting, who becomes a half-demon with tattoo-like markings on his body, and goes around fighting other demons. Wow, what a shockingly original RPG concept that's surely never been done before!
Now, as if the Nocturne aping on display wasn't already obvious and shameless enough, the part that kills me is they even stole that iconic pose! Incredible.

Anyway, most of you guys are probably wondering "Who the fuck are 'UnitePlus'?" I had no idea either at first, so I decided to look them up, and as it turns out: They're a recent company merger between "A-Plus" and "Aquria".
That's right, "Aquria", the same dev team behind Caligula, Crymachina, and Varlet.
What's more, Qliphah's director and lead game designer is the one and only (if you don't mind the TGS presentation's embarrassing spelling error) Satoshi Hirayae himself, the genius behind Caligula's combat system. Good to see him still in business, still working on innovative combat systems, and still sporting that classic dollar-store Skrillex look.
So yeah, this game has my interest, though I'll have to be cautiously optimistic. Apparently it just launched, and I'm already hearing some mixed things from reviewers. Either way, I'm gonna need to upgrade my PC first, and that's probably going to take me a while.

I'd say Kamiya's got a point about the wind-tuning and treasure-crane gimmicks. They definitely get tedious and overstay their welcome. They had potential to be better-balanced features, but the game designers just didn't nail it.
All that said, I still enjoyed the fuck out of Zelda TWW. The good definitely outweighs the bad for me, so I wouldn't agree that the whole game experience was ruined as he claims. But it's certainly not something to get so triggered over, as many of those gay xitter replyguys have.
