Among the people lynched was one white man, 29 year old Antonio Garcia from Spain, who was working for the gang being targeted as a “chemist”. Specializing in drug production process, by having a chemistry degree obtained in Spain and who was living in Ecuador for the last 4 years. He was arrested during a police raid on a drug production facility and was incarcerated in this prison less than 2 months ago.
He was first gang ra-ped in his cell by other inmates with his hands tied behind his back and then right after immediately hanged to death. His corpse was further humiliated by placing a condom one of his ra-pists used on his face. He was hanged completely naked below the waist, since it was done right after they used him.

He was hanged in his cell with his hands tied behind his back and his corpse was further desecrated by placing a used condom on his face. His pants and underwear were also removed, to leave him hanging with his genitals exposed. Corpses of most other lynched inmates were also desecrated in different ways, with many in likewise sexually humiliating manner.
This practice of force hanging by other inmates (or making them to hang themselves) and then desecrating or making fun of their corpses is very common in South America. With many videos of such prison hangings being available online.
